What is an escape room?

Escape Rooms are real-life puzzles where you and your group have one hour to find and solve riddles, challenges and codes in order to escape the room. The concept originated in Japan and is based off ‘Escape The Room’ video games created by Toshimitsu Takagi in 2005.
 

 

What is the age limit?

Escape Evansville is fun for every age and anyone can play! However, if you are under 15 years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
 

 

When should I arrive?

In order for us to keep our strict schedule, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your book. If you arrive late, you may not receive the full 60 minutes in your room.
 

 

What do I need to bring?

Just your friends, your brain and a winning spirit — you will not need anything that’s not in the room. Before your game, we’ll ask you to fill out a quick waiver.
 

 

Will we really be locked in?

No! Safety is our top priority, so the door won’t be really locked. You have the option to leave the escape room at any time if necessary.
 

 

What if my group can’t figure out the puzzles?

Our team of Game Masters will be monitoring your progress during the game — if you get stuck or need a clue, our Game Masters are there to help you get to the next step!
 

 

What if we don’t book all available spots in the room?

If your group doesn’t book all of the available spots in the room you are playing, it will stay available for other groups to book as well. You could possibly be paired with another group. If you want to book an entire room, you will need to purchase the maximum capacity for that specific game time.
 

 

Do we need to book in advance?

Yes. We can’t guarantee a spot unless you’ve booked ahead of time. Click here to see open times and book a game online!
 

 

Can I get a refund?

Sorry, but all sales are final. Tickets CAN be transferred to a friend — call us at (812) 573-0026 and we can take care of ticket transfers for you.
 

 

How do I pay?

How many people can be in each room?

All of our rooms have a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 8 (Zombie Escape has a maximum of 10).
 

 

Can I take photos inside the room?

Sorry, but we ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos in the rooms. We do have a designated area for group photos in our lobby.
